Advertisement banners on the Elf Fantasy Fair website:

Elf Fantasy Fair offers you the possibility to advertise on www.elffantasy.eu. At this moment it is possible to place a large vertical advertisement banner on the right side of the website. This banner can be shown on the entire website or on a few specific pages. You can indicate which option you prefer. Your banner will be incorporated in a circulation system. The chance that you will see your own banner on the website depends on the amount of banners in the circulation system at that moment. The displaying can be based on time and/or on basis of the amount of page views or impressions (determined in advance). The costs for placing a banner will be calculated according to the amount of page views. At the moment the rate is € 6.25 per 1.000 page views, starting with a minimum of15.000 page views. Elf Fantasy does not charge anything for the number of times the banner has been selected. You will provide the right banner and of course, the link requested by you will be placed on the banner.

The advertiser determines in advance how often the banner must be shown on the website. The banner will continue to be shown until all the impressions are ‘used up’. If an advertiser buys 50.000 impressions, the banner will be shown 50.000 times on the website. In October 2007 the pages of the Elf Fantasy website have been viewed at an average of 5.100 per day. In this example that would mean would be shown at least for 10 days on the website. Base don time: The advertiser chooses to have the banner shown at the website during a specific time, with a possible maximum of page views. Afterwards it will be calculated how often the banner has been shown during this period (total of impressions or page views).

An advertiser can indicate on which pages he would like to have his banner shown. In case of nu further specification there will be chosen for the standard Run Of Site (ROS), which means the banner will be seen on all the pages of the website.

 

What is the difference between hits, page views (impressions) and visitors?

A hit is every file that is requested.

Page views are all the pages that are viewed by a visitor. If someone views 2 pages and there are 2 pictures on each, than it amounts to 6 hits (2 pages + 4 pictures), two page views and 1 visitor.

In the month of October 2007 1.320 visitors viewed the website, which generated 5.100 impressions per day. The total amount of visitors in the moth of October was 40.000 with 157.000 impressions. The moth of April is the moth with the most visits, because of the Elf Fantasy Fair.. In 2007 this provided for an average of 4.100 visitors and 26.000 impressions a day.
