Elfia; a democratic monarchy

The Elf Fantasy Fair also goes by the name of Elfia, a land of fantasy that exists for real during two times two days every year with hits own flag, hymn, consul, ambassador and also its own ruler, who is chosen democratically. King Gyan & Queen Netel descended from their throne and will be followed by new rulers in 2010.

Inauguration:

During the Elf Fantasy Fair, Haarzuilens edition, the new king and/or Queen will be officially introduced to the citizens of Elfia.

Mutti has asked her husband Cernunnos (god of fertility) to ascend to the throne together with her. Unfortunately, Cerretjes priorities lie elsewhere during spring time. Even though Cerretje will be preoccupied, he did think about Mutti's question and sent his messenger to Mutti. Cernunnos wishes that the apple of his eye, Bifi, will ascend to the throne and that Mutti will be her support. Mutti will be governer next to Bifi.Last year King Gyan and Prince Sissus assigned Mutti to the task of doing something with her "Knighthood of the Time". It is Mutti's dream to get attention to the skill "making Time", a skill that, alas, has been long forgotten.Together with Bifi and all her green family members she will apply herself for this cause. And it is Bifi's dream to ride around on a horse as a queen!

Age: one does not ask a ‘lady’ about her age. Location: he lives with his father, King Gyan I, in one of the wings of daddy’s castle. Ethnic background: human Motivation for candidacy: “I want good things for the citizens of Elfia and not all everything for myself” Dislikes: “short legged dwarfs, goldfish and daddy (my reign will be quite different from his) What are his plans should he get elected: “there should be more parties; grand parties with lots of glitter” His motto: “Elfia is one big party. Celebrate!”

Falena is a Half Goddess, a distant relative of Hestia and Hecate (protector of a.o witches and sailors), believes in the warmth of a home and wants to bring that same warmth to Elfia. Together with her companion Domingo, her old love, once turned into a dog by a jealous God, is her wish to Elfia; Hearts of Light and full of Burning Fire of Happiness. With her connections to Olympus she hopes to create a bond between Elfia and the Kingdom of the Gods.

Age: 123 yrs Location: in a suburb of the town Srod (Elfia) Ethnic background: Drow Motivation for candidacy: “a kingdom seemed a good way to spice up my bland every day Drow-life. I think of it as a vacation getaway” What are his plans should he get elected: “in my culture women reign. Therefore I shall employ mainly men” His motto: “Elfia is too beautiful, Elfia is too bright. Everything shall become dark and may kill each other!”
